Eating Recovery Center (ERC) is expanding its nationally-recognized eating disorder treatment program by opening a new hospital at 8199 East 1st Avenue. This 62,000 square-foot, 72-bed state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital will serve as the center of ERC Denver’s adult eating disorder campus.
Treatment programs will include an Intensive Treatment Unit (ITU)to support patients with more complex conditions, and ERC’s nationally recognized inpatient and residential programs. All aspects of treatment – medical, psychological and psychiatric – will be overseen by ERC’s world-renowned medical and clinical leadership team.
With all treatment services taking place on one campus, patients will be able to work with one care team throughout their stay. This team will collaboratively coordinate their medical, therapeutic, psychiatric and dietary needs and supportthe patient every step of the way as they transition from higher levels of inpatient and residential care to lower levels of partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care.
The new hospital will also include an in-house pharmacy. The ERC Pharmacy will be dedicated solely to patients and services all ERC Denver inpatient and residential treatment program sites.
To create an optimal environment of healing and wellness, ERC involved patients and staff in the design process to help ensure that the center is both tranquil and functional. Patient and family needs were considered in every design decision, including artwork and themes that adorn the walls. The result is a beautiful environment dedicated to fostering connection, trust and growth.
