Founded in 2008 by Dr. Deborah Michel, The Woodlands Eating Disorder Center partnered with Eating Recovery Center in 2015 and is now Eating Recovery Center The Woodlands.

Eating Recovery Center, The Woodlands provides eating disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and/or other related food, eating, and body image illnesses. Treatment is holistic, and addressed by a team of therapists, dietitians, psychiatrists, and primary medicine doctors, as well as other eating disorder treatment experts. Individualized treatment plans, evidence-based interventions, medical support, family involvement, and discharge planning are the foundation to a sustainable recovery path.

• A multidisciplinary treatment team of eating disorder professionals oversees both the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
• ERC, The Woodlands is part of the larger network of Eating Recovery Centers around the country, with access to higher levels of care, including Residential and Inpatient Programs in our Plano, Texas location. The treatment team will work with patients and their families to assure a seamless transition to any of our residential sites, should there be a need for a higher level of care to best support the patient.
