Chief Nursing Officer

Dr. Sanders has 30 years of professional experience in clinical nursing that includes over 24 years of executive responsibility in the areas of patient services, hospital, nursing and professional risk management and outcomes management, most recently affiliated with UCHealth, Denver CO.
Dr. Sanders has implemented large-scale cultural change in areas such as improved throughput, service excellence, nursing practice integration, patient experience and shared leadership. She has been a nursing leader for nearly 30 years and has a passion for mentoring and leader development.
 
Dr. Sanders has her PhD in Nursing from the University of Colorado Denver College of Nursing, her MS in Nursing Administration and Nursing Education from Regis University and her BS in Nursing from Northeastern University.  Before working at University, she worked for Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
